González Tovar Local co-chairs the Safety Board Caravaca (14/04/2010)

The government delegate in Murcia has co-chaired the Local Security Board of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, together with the local mayor, Domingo Aranda Muñoz, in order to coordinate security measures in connection with the forthcoming the festivities in honor of the Blessed and Vera Cruz de Caravaca and track system introduced on the occasion of the Jubilee 2010 celebration of Caravaca.

At the same we have analyzed different aspects of public safety in the municipality and González Tovar has reiterated its confidence in the role of this body to improve the coordination of actions between the Security Forces of the State, and Local Police Civil Defense troops activated in this City on account of such important events.

In this sense, has reported that, at the increase in crimes detected earlier this year, we have established service operations which involved the Archivel posts, Caravaca, Moratalla Cehegín and with the support of the local police Caravaca, getting in the month of March these violations, detected mainly in the village, and hamlet Cavila Sale Barranda, have declined.

Stressed that so far this year the good coordination and increased police has reduced the number of crimes, while significantly increased both the clarification of the same as the arrests.

Also referred to Monitoring and Tracking Device carried out for the "Control of Drug Trafficking and Consumption in Areas of Leisure and Educational Centers, which has led to inspections in several places, establishments and secondary schools with the result of 20 complaints in the first three months.

Within this Plan, Civil Guard officials have also given talks to the improvement of living and school safety at the Institute Gines Perez Chirinos and San Juan de la Cruz and Cervantes in schools, San Francisco, El Salvador and is expected to commence shortly in Our Lady of Consolation, recently attached to this program.

Computerized Assistance Protocol

The Government delegate recalled that last February was signed by the mayor of Caravaca and the Ministry of Interior Computerized Protocol Support Civil Guard, which developed the Partnership Agreement signed safety at the time by both administrations.

The formalization of this protocol provides direct access to the local police databases Forces of State Security on requisitions, missing persons, stolen vehicles and other topics of interest to the police.

For Gonzalez Tovar "is a valuable tool to share information as may be achieved better coordination among different police forces and thus greater speed in their performances and ultimately greater operational efficiency."
