The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, and the president of the Cultural Association "Kabila Almoravids, Alfonso Sánchez Vázquez, have announced the institutions, companies and individuals who receive this year Tomir Awards 2010.
These awards were born twelve years ago, are given annually by the association and are awarded by the first municipal institution caravaqueña.
The winners this year are: internationally, the Holy Land, in the person of Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Custos of the Holy Places of Jerusalem, at the national level, Jose Maria Alvarez del Manzano, as President of the Governing Board of IFEMA (Institución Ferial de Madrid), at the regional level, all municipalities that have signed cooperative agreements with Caravaca de la Cruz for the Holy Year 2010 (Murcia, Lorqui Alguazas, Campos del Río, Mula and Cehegín, Greenway Northwest, Cartagena and La Union Road Apostle Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, Guadalentín High Road, Yecla and Calasparra, Camino del Altiplano; Abanilla, Granja de Rocamora Ulea and within the Route of the True Cross and Moratalla and Letur within the Route Santiaguista) locally, the award will be presented to Telecaravaca, in the person of its manager, Diego García Blaya.
The cast was completed by the Special Awards that will be delivered to computers caravaqueños volleyball, soccer and football, who play in national categories.
The Awards ceremony will take place Tomir Friday, April 9.
The program will begin with a reception at the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, beginning at 7 pm, at the end, the winners and their companions will travel to the Basilica Santuario de la Vera Cruz and then visit the Museum Fiesta.
The Gala Dinner where the awards will be given place in the Jardines del Sol, starting at 9:30 pm.
