Before the litigation brought by the three companies that form the joint venture construction Caravaca, to the Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) in Murcia, which requires the council to pay nine million euros and termination of contract for the construction of a new football stadium and a series of works, as published in local press, where builders also blame the City Council of reneging on part of the contract, from the socialist ranks we state the following:
First sorry you have reached this situation, although much we feared that the City was bound to litigation conducted by the mismanagement of this matter and the accumulation of irregularities that have occurred here as well declare at the time.
Secondly, we have already spoken to the effect that any negotiated solution to the above joint venture could be the least burdensome to the municipal coffers and ultimately for all caravaqueños, otherwise the Council can be mortgaged for many years .
Finally, as stated by Alfonso Sanchez, that we have in this sense a plea filed by record since last January, not yet developed in full, which asked the Town Planning Councillor, as pledged in the House Special of last November, organized in relation to the situation of that contract the football field, we should keep the other political groups represented here, which has not happened so far, so please let us know how many steps have taken place or plan to take the government team in relation to this complicated case and that we answer the administrative appeal by our local group, which has not happened to date, an issue that hope to address in ordinary plenary on Thursday 25 March.
