The sacristy of the former Jesuit hosted last night in the poster presentation and program Easter Caravaca.
The event was attended by the mayor, Domingo Aranda, the council of Celebration, Gonzalo López Auguy, President of the Association of Guilds, Gil Lopez, and most presidents of the various guilds.
The sign for the Easter 2010, illustrated with a photograph of Saul Sanchez, is played by Our Lady of Solitude, image holder Pitch Black.
Among the events announced is the Fourth Exhibition of Holy Week, from March 23 to meet the thrones, pictures and banners of the various guilds in the old Society of Jesus.
Other activities included in the Easter program is the Order of Christ the Redeemer, a sacred spectacle organized by the Department of Culture, which will be staged in the church of the Carmelite Fathers on 26 March.
March 28 will be held the traditional Easter concert with the participation of the Musical Association Caravaca de la Cruz, Drums Band and Bugles of Caravaca and Musical Group Company.
At the end of the concert will be held the opening speech, delivered by the priest caravaqueño Diego Martínez Martínez, rector of the Diocesan Seminary International missionary "Redemptoris Mater" and Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Secretary General.
One of the novelties of the upcoming Holy Week is the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus, who has been fully restored under an agreement signed with the city of Caravaca.
Also, the Consistory, through its Department of Celebration, has given the Association of Guilds of 9,000 euro grant to help organize the various processions.
The Directorate General of Tourism has contributed to the Association of Guilds with the release of the poster.
