The Director General of Irrigation and Rural Development, Julio Bernal, and the mayor of Caravaca and current president of the Integrated Rural Development, Domingo Aranda, are participating in a meeting between the regions participating in the Transnational Cooperation Project Poseidon .
The meeting, being held this week at Bab Blumau cities in Austria, in Bad Buchau, Germany, aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences between the Region of Murcia and Baden Württemberg on the potential for additional development and for new areas of cooperation.
"Poseidon" is a joint product of the relationship between groups of the Leader of the Region of Murcia and the town of Bad Buchau of Germany, two areas have in common the exploitation of water resources management models.
The project was developed within the framework of Community Initiative Leader + rural development, being funded by the European Union, the Ministry of Agriculture and the regions concerned.
During the meeting, participants will attend the presentation of the draft Archena Hot Springs and visit facilities such as a geothermal power plant and a vocational school, among other activities.
