The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, and the general director of Local Government, Juan Antonio Morales, today thanked the efforts of two local police officers who were assaulted when they tried to identify five individuals in the early hours of Saturday.
Thus, Aranda and Morales congratulated the police for the actions carried out and the work they perform each day, along with the Civil Guard to ensure security and harmony among residents of the municipality.
In the meeting held this morning also attended by the Councillor for Citizen Security, Amador Lopez, and the local police sergeant, José Antonio Caro.
The officers, who received multiple blows to the street, finally managed to arrest the five people involved to be brought to justice.
As stated in the police report, the incidents occurred when the police proceeded to identify five individuals after receiving a complaint of theft of vehicle.
