About 30 artisans from the region of Murcia will participate in the coming days 9, 10, 11 and 12 October at the Regional Craft Show Caravaca de la Cruz, first organized by the local council and the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research through the Department of Commerce and Handicrafts.
The activity has been presented this morning by Council of Handicrafts and Tourism, Mercedes and Gonzalo López-Vélez Auguy respectively.
The exhibition, which will open next Friday, will take place in the Gran Via, where fitted dining outlets, ceramics, paintings, costumes and toys, among other products.
The exhibition also will present the artisans of the Association of "The Slide" with a representation of all products made by artisans caravaqueños.
Councilwoman Crafts, Mercedes Velez, said during the presentation that this activity aims to "support and promote the artisans Murcia and at the same time, offering tourists and business people a different and attractive for the long weekend" .
The holding of samples of craft in different municipalities of the Region of Murcia is one of the measures taken by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research to raise awareness of regional crafts and revive sales of the artisans.
"Such events attract a large number of visitors who not only consumed in the sample, but also in commercial establishments and local hoteliers," he pointed to the mayor of Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy.
The exhibition will be open from Friday 9 October until Monday, October 12 at 11.00 hours to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00.
