More than 150 thoroughbred horses participating in the Contest Morphological Northwest (16/09/2009)

More than 150 Spanish Purebred horses belonging to the best farms and stud farms in Spain, will participate in the VII edition of the contest to host Northwest Morphological Caravaca de la Cruz from 25 to 27 September.

The poster and program of the Horse Fair and the Northwest Morphological Competition were presented today by the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, accompanied by the mayor of Celebration and Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy, as well as members of the rock rider Terry, a collective of the festivities who works with the City in organizing the event.

They have already confirmed their participation in the contest about 35 farms in Murcia and other provinces from Madrid, Alicante, Valencia, Cuenca, Ciudad Real and Toledo.

Also, new this year, will become part of the contest a Swiss cattle.

Moreover, this year acquired 36 stands will be released by the City for all fairs and events and will now be held at the fairgrounds Cavila sale.

The second part of the XXVII of the Horse Fair will take place on 8 and 9 October with a fair sale, traditionally known as the 'fair deal', an activity that has its origins in the former Cattle Fair and to be held in the town until the mid-50's.
