The City of Caravaca de la Cruz last night held a regular plenary session that addressed the various points of interest including noteworthy point of the consortium agreement concerning the Jubilee Year 2010.
Before starting the discussion of matters on the agenda, the mayor expressed appreciation on behalf of the municipal work performed by the device consisting of 150 personnel in the day yesterday managed to suppress the fire originated in the Sierra area of Mojantes.
The three political groups represented on the board gave their vote in favor of approving the agreement for the creation of the Consortium of the Jubilee Year 2010 to be signed between the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the City of Caravaca.
It also appointed the Councillor for Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, and the Councillor for Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy, as members of local government in the consortium and as secretary to the treasurer of the City Council, Miguel Martinez.
Remember that the consortium will have for the purpose of performing the actions necessary to enable the implementation of the tax benefits on the occasion of the Jubilee celebration next year, and the promotion and encouragement of various activities and celebrations that fall in the event.
The mayor wanted to thank all the individuals and institutions since 2007 have worked and supported this initiative, including political groups in the City Council, the Regional Assembly, the Council of Ministers and the Federation of Municipalities.
Moreover, the House also gave the green light to other issues such as council membership candidacy Carlos Blanco Fadol as Prince of Asturias Award for Concord and the joint motion of all groups for electronic notification of plenary and associated bodies.
Furthermore, note that the joint motion on funding and project implementation Robinwood was on the table and the motion of the Socialist Municipal Group on the implementation of a new telephone service, information and advice for victims of violence gender was rejected.
The emergency motion filed by the United Left Greens + for cleaning and repair of damage in the area of Calvary was approved unanimously.
