Caravaca de la Cruz hosts until next Sunday, the European Youth Summit Youth-Europe Meeting, which in its eighth year has brought together about 140 young people and authorities from Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic and Spain .
Participants are enjoying a few intense days together with recreational, cultural and tourism.
The meeting officially began last night with a party at school and today Cervantes was held a welcoming ceremony for all participants by the councilman of Youth, Antonia Maria Alvarez.
For tomorrow, Friday, at 21.00, is scheduled to receive the Mayor in the Plenary Hall of the authorities in eight European countries.
On Saturday, from 20.30, there will be a gala cultural shows and exhibitions in each country at the Salon de la Cruz Castillo.
The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca is committed to organizing this event, held for the first time in Spain last year for publishing the game in Laarkirchen (Austria).
The head of the municipal area of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, has said that the meeting is a great effort for the host city, "but this is a great opportunity to showcase our city to the outside, while it offers young Caravaca a different and enriching activity for the summer holidays. "
