The Youth Council has offered a special program of leisure time for young people of the town for the summer.
The Summer Youth, which was presented today by the charge of Youth in the City of Caravaca, Antonia M ª Álvarez, includes activities for children and young people aged between 4 and 30 years primarily related to archeology, sports, information and visits to natural sites.
"We tried to maintain and lower tuition rates to suit the current situation facing so many families caravaqueñas and the activity of youth is not being eroded by this situation," Alvarez stressed Jonquera.
Among the range of activities is the Summer School, a classic in the Youth program, which this year will be held during the months of July and August in the school Santa Cruz de Caravaca, the Virgen de la Candelaria de Barranda and Archivel Mojantes Sierra and Summer Camp Nerpio Nogueras.
The site of Cerro de las Fuentes Archivel will again be a meeting point for young people from different countries to participate in International Work Camp organized by the Youth Institute in collaboration with the City of Caravaca.
Moreover, the Summer Youth includes workshops and Computer Climbing and-3 play championship ping-pong and foosball.
Another new face this summer is the extension of hours of the Youth Centre to meet the needs of young people during the summer.
The entertainment center will be open from 6 to 15 September in the afternoon from Monday to Friday from 19.00 to 24.00.
