The regular plenary session held on the last night in the city of Caravaca began to formalize the resignation of Maria del Carmen Muñoz Porras as councilman and spokesman for the Socialist Municipal through reading by the Secretary of an application lodged by the Former mayor on 19 January.

Among the issues discussed and approved during the session include the provisional award of the concession of public works for the construction of an underground parking and a place in the ravine area of St. Jerome to the Mirador del Castillo SL company.
The Councillor for Finance, Salvador Gomez, who was commissioned to make the point, said that this is a flagship project and necessary from the standpoint of economic and tourism also are going to take place in a core strategic area city, near the main historical and tourist attraction areas.
The parking will be distributed over three floors and will have 622 seats, 36 handicapped accessible and space reserved for buses.

This item was approved with the abstention of the United Left + The Greens and the positive vote by the council and socialist popular.
The plenary also gave green light to three specific modifications of the General Urban Plan, including the most significant is the number 27, which will improve the buildability in the economic zones to attract dotacionales hotel investments.
Other items approved were the change in the ordinance for private use of the underground car park at Gran Via 18 and the proposal of the Mayor-President on the Grant-time basis.
