Caravaca has 278 member stores Consumer Arbitration System (04/02/2009)

The Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz Murcia and the Association of Consumers and Users, Consumur have developed a joint campaign to promote membership of entrepreneurs and traders in the municipality to the Consumer Arbitration System.

The result of the work done has been very satisfactory, as highlighted by the responsible consumption area at City Hall, Mercedes Velez, who has stressed that Caravaca de la Cruz is located and situated between the towns of Murcia with more adhesion level more than 30 new establishments attached to the Consumer Arbitration System, which totals 278 companies in the municipality.

The head of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC) in Caravaca de la Cruz, coordinator of the campaign, visited during the months of October and November more than 30 companies to publicize their charge characteristics and advantages of this system reports to consumers and / or users and entrepreneurs themselves.

The result of the efforts is that 32 companies have joined the municipality Consumer Arbitration System by signing the appropriate agreement for accession to the Consumer Arbitration Board, through this way to be 278 member establishments of the SAC in Caravaca Cross.

The 32 companies participating in Caravaca de la Cruz during the campaign belong to various sectors: textile, hotel, telephone, furniture, computers, footwear and accessories, dry cleaning, driving, sundries, gift items, repair shops, etc..

Consumer Arbitration System

Consumer Arbitration is a procedure of voluntary dispute resolution, fast, simple, effective and cost may resolve the discrepancies between the parties without having to go to court, thus facilitating trade relations of citizenship.
