Representatives of Murcia in the Regional Assembly have unanimously supported the proposal on tax breaks for companies that decide to invest in initiatives and projects related to the Holy Year 2010.

The popular MP and deputy mayor in the city of Caravaca, Amador Lopez, has been in charge of defending the motion at the plenary session in the morning, getting the support of two opposition groups.

The motion passed in the same terms as the city of Caravaca, urge the Government asked the Office to be included in the General State Budget for the years 2009 and 2010 a provision that says, among other things, that the conclusion Jubilee Year will be considered a unique event in the public interest for the purposes of the provisions of Article 27 of Law 49/2002 on the fiscal regime of non-profit organizations and the incentives for patronage.

The next step after the approval of the City Council was to give plenary Caravaca transfer to the Ministry of Finance, together with a dossier of related actions for the next Holy Year 2010.
