The Governing Council has approved two decrees to improve facilities and equipment of Women, and to develop programs and services on equality and attention to women victims of gender violence.
Thus, the regional government plans to invest over 1.7 billion euros in all the municipalities in the region.
The first of the decrees has an investment of 925,000 euros for the 45 municipalities of the Region.
Specifically, this total 800,000 euros will be devoted to programs to provide services and activities on equal opportunities, and 125,000 euros for the operation of 15 centers specialized care of Victims of Violence (CAVI) with which account of the region.
Moreover, the regional government has approved a second decree that will invest more than 800,000 euros to various municipalities in the region to improve facilities and equipment of Women.
Thus, the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, under the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, will promote the participation of women in the various fields of social and economic life in order to achieve equality men and women.
In particular, the municipalities that will benefit from the signing of this decree are the Eagles, with 110,000 euros, Caravaca de la Cruz, with 140,000 euros, Cartagena, with 350,000 euros, Ceuta, with 140,000 euros to 10,000 euros Mula; and Puerto Lumbreras, with 50,000 euros.
