About 200 horses participate Pure Spanish Competition XXVII Morphology of Caravaca Horse Fair to be held next 26, 27 and 28 September.
This was announced today the mayor, Domingo Aranda, in presenting this event every year manages to gather at the fairgrounds Cavila Sell the best stud farms and the country.
Aranda, accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism and representatives from the Rock Caballista Terry, said that the morphological contest has become one of the most important in Spain and a classic date calendar of events caravaqueño.
The planned events will begin on Thursday 25 September at 9.00 am with the entry of livestock.
On Friday and Saturday will be held on Northwest Morphological Competition with the scores of the different sections by a military jury of Army Cavalry.
On Saturday at 20.30 hours, after completion of the ratings, 14 copies of Purebred Spanish mares belonging to the Peña de Bejar star in a horse show with a carousel in high school.
Throughout Sunday's contests will be held with awards special prizes to the best horse and cattle fair better.
This edition also will be awarded prizes for loyalty to Northwest Morphological Competition that will fall within two mares who have participated in the seven editions of the competition: Zamar Stud and Stud Don Antonio Fuentes 'El Molino'.
The fair will also have different points of sales of products related to horse care as well as commercial firms stand and crafts of the Northwest Region and attractions for children.
The Tourism Department also set up a stand to show visitors the attractions of the town.
The second part of the XXVII of the Horse Fair will take place on 11 and 12 October with the fair sale, traditionally known as the 'fair deal', an activity that has its origins in the former Cattle Fair and to be held in the town until the mid-50's.
