The exhibition hall of the House of Culture Emilio Sáez hosting an exhibition of cartoonist Enrique Pérez Penedo.
La Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo and the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca we present this exhibition consists of 66 drawings published in the press in recent years.
The show takes us through the 33 years of work by Henry as newspaper cartoonist, most of them related to daily Alicante Information.
The official historian of the city of Alicante and Letters Award from the Generalitat Valenciana, Enrique Cerdan Tato, wrote in reference to this exhibition is an "unusual chronicle of our time and our close social, political, economic, cultural and urban development, without, at all those national and international news that have caught their attention and sensitivity. "
Enrique Pérez Penedo (Alicante, 1951): Since 1972, continuously published his drawings in the newspaper Information Alicante, also working with various newspapers (Marca, Sheet Monday, Alicante Deportivo, thus Newsletter Ecisa).
Since 1984 has put the touch of humor to the publications of the Savings Bank of the Mediterranean.
He is currently president of FECO-Spain (European Federation of Organisations Cortoonists).
As a cartoonist has participated in national and international exhibitions, where he has won numerous awards as the first prize in the International Olympiad of Humor.
