Hubbub is formed in Madrid in 1998, the idea of Helen of Alfonso of making music with lyrics from the Iberian musical traditions.

Their repertoire mixed medieval music, Arab, Sephardic, and cast his own compositions in their own sound, with care arrangements.

Their stage repertoire is presented in a stylish and dynamic direct.

Over the eight years which account hubbub has evolved, always around the voice of their leader, in his quest to bring to the public the feelings contained in lyrics and melodies that despite being even in the eleventh century speak of emotions common to all human beings.

The apparent simplicity of the new training acts balm that glides on Helena, plunging the audience into a bath where you drink from these feelings.

In 2002, after four years of concerts, performances and collaborations, turmoil faced the challenge of recording their first album.

Aware of the magnitude of the decision, was hired producer Javier Bergia, and the project attracted the attention and complicity of established musicians, who through their participation in the record gave a vote of confidence and appreciation for the project.

These musicians are Javier Paxariño, Quique Almendros, Jaime Muñoz, Rafael Martín and Paco Benítez.

Hubbub now presents their highly anticipated second album, "One hour in the window," edited by our department work record, and contains twelve new songs written and worked in the past two years.

Hubbub has been included in three collections to date.

Cursed Topics sei al Mare and dotted Jacks were selected for the compilation of Folk Competition IV Valleys Navelgas.

Cursed Again the issue Sei al Mare was selected, in this case by the SGAE, for inclusion in the compilation Bagoas Negras (Black Tears), published in solidarity with those affected by the tragedy of the tanker Prestige.

The third compilation in which they appear, is the first volume in the series Papers on Musical Diversity.
