The opera company La Lyra Hispana baroque dance, consisting of singers, instrumentalists and dancers from the Region of Murcia, presents this Friday at 20.30 in the Theatre Thuiller Caravaca de la Cruz the show "Dueling Divas".

Both artists had come to London to work under the orders of the great composer Georg Friedrich Handel operas.

As Handel operas he composed for the two divas, the rivalry between them was growing.

The result of this rivalry, in London created two opposing camps: when one of the divas sang, followers of the other whistle.

Things came to such an extent that at the end of 1727, and in the presence of the princes of Wales, the two sopranos ended up insulting and fighting scattered across the floor as the crowd cheered the dispute.
