The Department of transparency and citizen participation serves 1,158 complaints and suggestions in 2015 (08/02/2016)

Street cleaning and solar, maintenance of parks and gardens, road signs and public safety are, in that order, the issues that concerned neighbors and most complained concentrated during 2015, as reflected in the report annual complaints and suggestions made by the Department of Transparency and Citizenship of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.

During 2015, in the Consistory a total of 1,158 citizens communications, distributed in 418 parts of a breakdown, 303 complaints, 67 suggestions, 34 queries, 329 queries online and 7 acknowledgments were dealt.

This report stresses that the resolution rate has risen to 95% and 9 out of 10 complaints and suggestions have been satisfactorily resolved.

The mayor of Citizen Participation and Transparency, Gloria Gómez, stated that, "although the results are positive and has increased the rate of resolution compared to previous years," it is necessary to continue making progress in this field and improve aspects communication and internal collaboration between the office and other municipal departments to the answer to citizens more quickly and systematically. "Similarly," it is appropriate to improve public information services provided by that office to the public and that cooperation between local government and citizens is growing, "he stated the council.

Office customer service of the Department of Citizen Participation and Transparency is mainly responsible for ensuring proper attention to citizens, so that the suggestions are taken into account, information on matters of interest to facilitate and solutions to problems are sought more agile manner.
