The deputy of the Popular Party in the Regional Assembly Victor Martinez-Carrasco and the Municipal People's Party spokesman, José Francisco Garcia, released in detail the investment to regional budgets envisaged for the Northwest Region and Caravaca de la Cruz.
The budgets, which the regional deputy favor economic growth and strengthen job creation, have a marked social character by earmarking 81% of all social policies and 12% to economic stimulation.
"These budgets mean more aid dependency, support for the underprivileged with aid for 15,000 people without resources;
more scholarships, better funding of universities, more protection for the agricultural sector and the final arrival of the AVE to the Region of Murcia "said Martinez-Carrasco.
The deputy stressed that these assumptions have been made "after months of intense work and negotiation with all representatives of society Murcia."
As to Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García stressed as main activities the construction of the new theater of the Northwest Regional Hospital, endowed with 500,000 euros;
that increase the surgical capacity of the center, and Health Center expansion, a project valued at 15 million euros.
He also listed the 100,000 euros for the start of work on the widening of access to Caravaca from the Noroeste motorway;
521,000 for financing the Public Social Services Network serving Northwest Commonwealth;
the about 2 million to the different programs and residence of persons with disabilities Apcom and 2 million euros in investments for the 2017 Jubilee Year of Caravaca.
"These are the main items, but there are many others that reflect a clear commitment to municipalities, such as the recovery of the Plan of Works and Services to improve infrastructure and facilities in the municipalities endowed with 5 million euros or Plan Rural Roads equipped with nearly 2.5 million euros, "added the spokesman of the Popular Party.
Both Victor Martinez-Carrasco and Jose Francisco Garcia have described as "irresponsible" way in which the opposition has made amendments to these budgets, "unplanned and conscience" by proposing new headings but without saying what away or removed.
As an example of this lack of planning the popular spokesman said the amendment PSOE 600,000 to endow a new scanner for the Northwest Regional Hospital, a scanner that is already tendered and who once called by the Popular Party motion.
