The Sisters Cities presented the action plan to further promote the pilgrimage route'Huellas' (22/01/2016)

Group Teresianas Spain Cities, "Traces of Teresa", held yesterday in the environment FITUR, an assembly, which were approved the main lines of work for 2016. The Mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, Accompanied by the mayor of Tourism, Gloria Gomez, they participated in this meeting, along with representatives from the 16 'Cities Sisters' remaining.

After the Assembly, "Traces of Teresa" held the presentation of its' International Operational Plan 2016` in the stand of Turespaña, a set of actions to be developed in close cooperation with the agency.

The event was attended by the director of Turespaña, Marta Blanco Quesada, who confirmed the support and collaboration of this entity with "Traces of Teresa of Jesus."

Among all the international actions Footprints held throughout 2016 to include sectoral presentations, working meetings with interest groups (operators, media and prescribers), exhibitions, familiarization trips, attending trade fairs, and so on.

This plan includes promotional activities in a dozen countries across three continents;

all of them chosen by several factors, including the importance of pilgrimages and cultural tourism, and even other aspects such interest in the Spanish Golden Age.

In Europe, the markets covered are Italy, France, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Hungary, UK and Ireland.

In America, it is the United States and Mexico.

And South Korea is the country selected Asia.

The presentation was attended by institutional representatives, agencies, tour operators and media.

'Traces of Teresa'
