The PP blames the "incompetence" of the PSOE government that municipal ordinances of 2016 have not entered into force after being challenged (13/01/2016)

The Bylaws for the current year 2016, adopted unanimously in Parliament last November, they have not entered into force to be challenged by a neighbor of Caravaca on 29 December.

This is the fact that the Municipal People's Party spokesman, José Francisco Garcia, has announced this morning at a press conference and which he described as "unusual in our region and in the 35 years of democracy."

Garcia has blamed the "irresponsibility and incompetence" of the municipal government team that the ordinances have not entered into force, adding that "we have a municipal government without initiative, without preparation, without project and without direction."

Ordinances, according to the popular spokesman, clearly improved the taxation of citizens "and now can not be applied".

Garcia recalled measures such as lowering the rustic IBI of 0.80 to 0.68, which affects those farmers and farm owners and coming to reduce the heavy tax burden on this sector.

He also reminded the commission on the capital gains tax for small inheritances or bonus of up to 95% of IBI "for the economic activities of special interest that could apply to farms being punished unfairly with a high tax".

The spokesman also denounced the lack of transparency in this regard, "since from the 29th in the notice of challenge Ordinances register until January 11 we are given of that statement to the spokespersons of the groups Opposition politicians ".

In this sense, García said "it is clear that both the mayor and the government team are aware of the fact that the ordinances were adopted out of time and that is why that is calculated as initial day of calculating the period of exposure and claims the day of initial approval by the House, to be published at 22:00 pm that day recently approved ".

Finally, at the extraordinary plenary session tomorrow, Thursday, Jose Francisco Garcia is confident that no group support rising 10 points of urban IBI would mean a rise of 17% of the receipt, after getting the Directorate General of Land Registry applies the lowering the coefficient.
