The PP asked at the next plenary to value the archaeological sites and resume guided visits districts of the municipality (20/10/2015)

The Municipal People ask to value and offer visits to the archaeological sites of the municipality and resume tours to the villages and countryside of Caravaca visits, according to the motion tabled for debate and vote in the next regular plenary session in October.

The City of Caravaca de la Cruz recently conducted four performances of asset recovery in paper mills, site of more than 4,000 years old located in the town of Caravaca;

the chapel of the Incarnation, set Ibero-Roman temples and the sixteenth-century buildings in the hamlet of La Encarnación;

Cabezuela 'castellum' Roman of the hamlet of Barranda, and the Cerro de las Fuentes in the hamlet of Archivel, which houses a second Roman fort near Andalusian village.

The projects were implemented with a total budget of 500,000 euros, which was financed entirely through assistance from the European Fund for Rural Development and the Leader program.

These actions involved the creation of 32 jobs.

This plan was completed with a draft signaling archaeological heritage, with 81,000 euros budgeted and financed by the Leader funds.

The motion also asks the City Council to resume the program Guided al Campo and districts of Caravaca held during the years 2013 and 2014. "The actions aim to ask boost rural tourism and ecotourism as a source of wealth for the inhabitants of the rural areas, focusing on the development of rural tourism as a factor of dynamism and publicize the natural, archaeological and gastronomic richness of our vast municipality ", as explained by GMP spokesman Jose Francisco Garcia.
