The City of Caravaca lights morning green by the '# PlenaInclusión' of people with intellectual disabilities (01/10/2015)

The facade of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will light tomorrow, Friday, green from 20.30, as other buildings in the region and Spain to claim the full inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities into society.

Green is the new color that represents the struggle of these people and their thousands of relatives because FEAPS movement adopts in its new image, which is also accompanied by a change of name.

FEAPS includes more than 235,000 associations throughout Spain and 26 in the region, which are from the Northwest Region and some as APCOM ASCRUZ.

Now, after 50 years of history, the movement FEAPS brand change tomorrow.

As representative areas like the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid, the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia or the Tower of Hercules in A Coruña will light.

In Murcia, besides the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, will be dyed green places like the Moneo building in Murcia, the Palace Hall of Cartagena, the Consistory of Totana and the Bridge of the Rambla de las Culebras, Eagles.

The announcement of the new image and name, which will be announced tomorrow with the light, is accompanied by a campaign so we can all support the claim of these people and their families in social networks with the hashtag # PlenaInclusión.

FEAPS and their associations want to 'paint' green Facebook and Twitter and invite all Murcia to 'putting green' their profiles and become a 'selfie' opposite the Town Hall when taking this color for one night.

FEAPS, the Federation of Organisations for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and Cerebral Palsy, is to facilitate the full inclusion in all spheres of life, without neglecting the welfare work carried out in their centers.

The struggle for the fulfillment of their rights, get people with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders or cerebral palsy represent themselves and exercise as full citizens is the goal that this movement wants to involve the whole society.
