Renowned pianist and composer Abdon Alcaraz Murcia will present his latest album, "Group Vicenta" in the esplanade of the castle Caravaca de la Cruz next Saturday, October 3, at 20.30.
The concert is part of the program of the Fair Caravaca de la Cruz, organized by the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Alcaraz will be joined on stage by Jorge Pardo (flute), Javier Colina (double bass), Miguel Angel Orengo (percussion) and the voice of singer Veronica Nephews Cartagena.
Together they made a direct sound full of nuances where jazz and flamenco coexist harmoniously.
Abdon Alcaraz is currently one of the main bastions of flamenco piano.
With their third album, "Group Vicenta", has become one of the best known Spanish jazz pianists and music has made its flow between soleas, bulerías, mining and tanguillos.
Throughout his career, he has received several awards, including the 2010 Philo emphasizes the Best Instrumentalist Award at the 50th International Festival of Cante de Las Minas.
Abdon music has gone through the most prestigious jazz and flamenco festivals nationally and internationally as the International Jazz Festival in Barcelona and the Plaza Festival in Havana, among others.
