Coinciding with the start of the school year, the secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, has moved today to caravaqueño school "La Santa Cruz" to see first hand the educational projects of the center and a meeting with his team teaching management and representatives of the City to collect concerns, suggestions and needs.
In the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz have started the academic year 2,504 students and Primary, in addition to the 1,200 enrolled in secondary schools, 545 School, 550 Vocational Training 69 Special Education 900 Center Adult Education.
The school principal Santa Cruz, José Francisco García Moreno, and the head teacher, Jose Esteban Caro Azorín, showed a municipal and regional representatives some of the educational projects developed with the students, as the "Aula XXI" where they were pioneering center in the region.
They also highlighted the introduction of another new project, framed in the LOMCE, as is the "logical-mathematical Classroom", which has computers, whiteboard and materials for the development of workshops on the subject.
They have also explained that "Applied Knowledge" will be held in English among students in 4th, 5th and 6th Primary.
Education Secretary General expressed his intention to maintain direct contact with the City of Caravaca;
"A close relationship between the regional and local administrations to meet the demands of the institutions and associations of parents and improve education among all."
The director of the Holy Cross has indicated that short term would require an improvement in the infrastructure in terms of removal of architectural barriers to access to certain pavilions.
Thus, in the face of upcoming courses, it is desirable to create a covered area on the slopes and make the extension of two or three classrooms for activities.
