The Department of Urban Development of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz performs during these days improvement works in the New Quarter and Cabecico slope, with an overall presuesto 34,000 euros, amount financed through the Municipal Investment Plan.
In Cabecico slope is proceeding to the demolition of concrete floors, which due to steep street posed a danger to neighbors by landslides.
It has also been renovated underground water network, with replacement of pipes and connections to homes, and is finally placed a new firm based slip cobblestone.
Moreover, in the New Neighborhood is running the third stage of improvement works in areas of the rear housing.
It is acting in a space of 500 square meters of embankments and suburbs, where trawls and landslides caused problems of moisture in adjoining buildings.
The works involve clearing and cleaning the space and placement of a new pavement, which properly channeled water in times of heavy rain.
"These two actions demanded by the neighbors, in the case of Barrio Nuevo the goal is to avoid as far as possible moisture problems and the costs of Cabecico facilitate the transit of both people and vehicles from neighboring ", said the Councillor for Urban Development, Salvador Gómez, who advanced to next week new proceedings are instituted within that Municipal Investment Plan.
