The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism in the Region of Murcia, takes up this Sunday, February 15th, the activity "Your free guided tour", which identifies the major monuments and sites of historic city.
Councillor for Tourism, Maria Cruz Perez, said that "we continue investing in this activity, since we received very good response from tourists, completing the number of participants in practice most editions and ranking among the most accepted having throughout the Region of Murcia, according to data from the Tourism Institute has provided in the four previous editions ".
The visit, which will be accompanied by explanations of an official guide, will last approximately an hour and a half, will begin at 11.15 am at the Castle and inside the Real Basilica de la Vera Cruz to continue along the neighborhood streets medieval, Plaza del Arco, Church of El Salvador, Street, the old church of the Company, Plaza del Hoyo and the Temple.
Finally, attendees will culminate the tour with a visit to the Mercado del Peregrino, which promotes the Department of Commerce and the Association of Artisans, offering entertainment activities and crafts and delicacies typical of the Northwest Region.
All persons involved in the visit will receive a bonus of 10% off for drinks at bars and restaurants welcome this initiative.
This new edition of the free guided tours take place on 15 February, 15 March, 19 April, 17 May and 21 June.
