The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has prepared a Municipal Investment Plan with performances worth more than 2 million euros.
The plan, which was presented at the plenary session this morning, includes projects in the town and villages in infrastructure and improvement of steely, firm and sewer and storm.
"The goal is that these works are executed by companies Caravaca, which will give a boost to the local economy and support employment in a sector so punished in recent years such as the construction", as stated by Councilman responsible for directing the area of ​​Urban Development and Services, Salvador Gómez.
Among the activities planned include works to be executed with the funds received few weeks ago under the planning agreement of "The Roblecillo".
In the village, improving steely and gardens will be prioritized, emphasizing the renewal of outstanding sidewalks Avenue Los Andenes or performances in the park Juan Pablo II and Garden City.
Has reserved the sum of 300,000 euros for the implementation of a new road and parking in the heart of Old Town, on the block known as "Europan", located between New and Canalejas street, next to the new museum of the Wine Horses .
Regarding tourism infrastructure, aims to improve access to Caravaca de la Cruz by the Northwest Greenway, with the installation of a footbridge over the ravine of San Jerónimo, parallel to the old road to Murcia.
Also listed caravaqueñas investments in all districts.
These include the refurbishment of the parking area for the natural landscape of Las Tosquillas Barranda or adequacy of several streets of the doctor's office and school environment Archivel.
These works are complemented by the actions of renewal of potable water to finance the concessionaire of municipal water service, Aqualia, in various parts of the municipality and the installation of new points of underground containers in four neighborhoods of the town, with under the contract for the provision of services for solid waste collection, street cleaning and garden maintenance.
The Municipal Investment Plan also includes the remodeling of the Miguel Espinosa Avenue.
This work, which will have a budget of 200,000 euros, will be financed 80% by the Cooperation Plan of Works and Services of the Autonomous Community.
