The Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz promotes this weekend two charitable activities to assist the local assembly of the Red Cross and the Association of Friends of the Saharawi People of the Northwest.
"Sport and solidarity are reunited with the goal of helping two associations that play a large role in our town. That's why we make a call for citizen participation in the activities of Saturday and Sunday," said Councilman Sports, Emilio Pérez, offered at the press conference with the president of the local chapter of the Red Cross, José Antonio González;
President of the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people, Jesus Molina, and Emi Ortiz, representing Caravaca Sports Center.
The first activity is joint Zumba Masterclass, organized in collaboration with the Caravaca Sports Centre, which will take place this Saturday, Dec. 20, from 11.00 to 13.30 in the municipal hall Juan Antonio Corbalan.
Participants delivered a donation of five dollars, which will go to funding the program "Holidays in Peace" of Saharawi children.
On Sunday from 11.00 am will be held on Paseo de La Log, the third edition of "Race Jueguete" to collaborate with the local branch of Red Cross in its campaign to collect toys for families with limited caravaqueñas economic resources.
All lower categories may participate from to youth Babies.
The traditional entry is replaced by the delivery of a toy in the offices of the Department of Sports, located in Hall Juan Antonio Carlini, either before starting the competition.
