The Association of Families of People with Disabilities in the Northwest Region (APCOM) celebrated on Sunday, October 26, the thirtieth anniversary of its establishment with a sports gear.
The activity will be complemented by a circuit, children's workshops and a convivial meal at the premises of "The Snowflake".
More than 1,100 people will participate in this march, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the other municipalities in the Northwest Region.
From APCOM own association and Sports Department appreciates the massive response to this initiative has received from the citizens of the various towns of the Northwest and other parts of the Region and announce that the registration period is closed since yesterday In order to provide good care and service to all participants.
The march will start at 10.00 hours from the sports hall Juan Antonio Carlini ending on the promenade Log, after completing a 5 kilometer route.
Each participant will receive a backpack and a T Apcom XXX anniversary of the association.
In addition, all registrants may participate in the convivial meal.
The association works to Apcom care and inclusion of people with some kind of intellectual disabilities, offering them the support they need during their life cycle and their familares advice.
The facilities are located in Caravaca de la Cruz and its scope covers all municipalities in the Northwest.
The main services are responsible for managing the Child Development Center, Early Intervention and Educational Support "Avanza" occupational day center "Mayrena" the day center and residence for older dependents "The Snowflake" the special center employment "Ecojardín" and residence "Nova" and sheltered housing.
