The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz starts the animation and promotion of reading for the course 2014/2015 program through various workshops, book clubs and meetings with authors organized by the Public Library.
Until the 15th of October is open enrollment period in the workshop to encourage reading, aimed at children aged between 4 and 6 years, and in the creative workshop for children aged 7-9 years.
These workshops will be taught by instructors from the Workshop Book Association, under the cooperation agreement it has with the city of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The purpose of the workshops is to awaken the habit of reading from an early age and to familiarize children with the characters, arguments and values ​​from the literature.
The registration fee is 6 euros per quarter and tuition are formalized at the desk of the Library.
Moreover, the Department of Culture begins this October with meetings with the author that are scheduled monthly in collaboration with writers from the Region of Murcia.
The writer ceheginera Mariangeles Ibernon Valero will be responsible for starting the new cycle of meetings on 14 October at 20.30 in the sacristy of the old church of the Society of Jesus.
Maria de los Angeles was born in Cehegín Ibernon Valero in 1967 and although his love of writing goes back to his childhood, is in the Soursop Jam Molina de Segura, which debuts in reading his poems.
And it is in "Cliffs of paper" where we can read his first poems published.
From that moment it is present in "Coffee with verses" recitals in many municipalities in the region and in the "Three voices, one soul."
In 2013 he published two books, "Whispering words", with five editions, y¿Me ?, draw a line that has reached two editions.
Two poems solidarity with the Spanish Association against cancer and childhood.
On March 14, he presented his poemarioSusurrando words, Editorial ADIH, 2013 in Madrid.
