Students, teachers, professors, parents and alumni of the school "La Santa Cruz" participated this morning in a mass pilgrimage to the Real Basilica de la Vera Cruz, organized to mark the centenary of the school.
Sections divided by age, more than 1,100 people have joined progressively the march, which started at seven in the morning from the neighboring town of Moratalla.
After the pilgrimage, they visited a Pilgrim's Mass, officiated at the esplanade of the Castle, with the participation of the choir and the school band flute.
Since the beginning of the year, the educational community of CEIP "La Santa Cruz" is celebrating the centenary of the founding of the school with various activities.
The celebrations are inciaron January with the presentation of the shield, the website and the school anthem composed by caravaqueño Ignacio Sánchez Navarro.
It also forms part of this celebration the lecture given by renowned psychologist and lecturer, Javier Urra.
