UPyD out in its motion due to the reduction in the price of the transferred water, which was approved last day 17 February by the Council of Ministers, our City Hall is "forced" is reviewing the current water rate.
The next regular plenary to be held during the month of March, Caravaca UPyD echoes the Agreement signed by the Council of Ministers, on 17 February whereby the water from the Tajo-Segura, from now on irrigators will pay 17.5 cents per cubic meter of water at 12.5, a 28% reduction, while for urban water supply is the reduction of three cents from 21.5 cents rate to 19 with 11% discount.
From Caravaca UPyD claim for the reduction in water rates because they are establishing many municipalities in the region supplied by the Commonwealth Taibilla Channel, which are all of the Region, except Yecla and Jumilla.
On the other hand, the Municipal Group of Caravaca UPyD adheres to the motion filed by the Municipal Socialist Group, which calls for the establishment of a Special Briefing on the Supreme Court Judgment on the UTE Caravaca, in order to clarify all these anomalies which the Hon.
City of Caravaca has been sanctioned.
