Last Saturday, 11, were the thousands of municipalities throughout Spain, Caravaca was no exception in such a democratic act, but there is always a but, what happened at the gateway to the Town Hall, leaves little doubt the performance of local police and the alleged orders given by superiors.
Needless to say, apparently the whole event took place without incident, or so we thought until it completed the full and leaving the building, our councilman and spokesman UPyD and Miguel Sanchez goes to the output and what was surprised to be there with several young people who expressed their displeasure at being unable to access the Plenary Hall for direct orders of the local police denied them passage, days before two of these youths had been UPyD attorneys in 22 election May, and that morning accompanied the mayor to the door of the council with the sole purpose of witnessing the inauguration of the various aldermen and especially Miguel Sanchez.
Until today, we did not want make any note on the subject, leaving the highest municipal authority and local police chief of Caravaca any clarification, but watching the days go by and no answer, we are obliged to "denounce" the events publicly, because it is an outrage unprecedented freedom of individuals and limiting these young people of the locality by simply "get together on Saturdays in the Plaza del Arco" or be the "15-M," as they said their own agents, prohibiting the passage of the House of All, which is none other than the city of our city.
Therefore we ask and demand a clarification and to identify responsibilities, if any.
From UPyD believe that this is not the best way to start a new legislature, where consensus and citizen participation should be the pillars on which sits the future of municipal activity.
