Popular achieved 50.4% of the vote compared to 30.5% of PSOE
The Popular Party of Caravaca de la Cruz has consolidated his fourth majority in the municipality, achieving a 50.4% electoral support of the electorate.
Popular valued very satisfactory results in the elections last May 22 and want to thank the caravaqueñas caravaqueños and confidence in the bid led by Domingo Aranda.
The PP has been the largest party in the village 21 tables and 8 in parishes, that is, in all polling stations except three tables in which the difference from the other parties has been lower than in 2007 .
Also noteworthy that popular increase the lead with the main socialist, doubling the distance from the last municipal elections.
Thus, the fork has gone from 10 points in 2007 to 20 in 2011, the percentage of votes for each party PP PSOE 50.4% and 30.5%.
Sunday Aranda and his team achieved a historic result for his party, being the only mayor of democracy with four absolute majority rule.
In recent weeks the Popular Party has faced an electoral campaign marked by austerity, with events in all villages.
In the town the PP has held four rallies and dozens of events with different sectors of society caravaqueña.
Also, the centerpiece of the campaign has focused on the 250 measures reflected in its electoral program, much of it aimed at job creation and care of disadvantaged social sectors.
The Popular Party wants to congratulate the United Left and the increased representation of two councilors and Union, Progress and Democracy by its entry into the city of Caravaca with a mayor.
