During the 28th to December 30th we celebrated the International Volleyball Tournament at Guadalajara Christmas.
The participating teams were Spain A, Greece, Portugal, Tunisia, Belgium and Spain B.
Chema started out playing for Spain B team made great games like the one that gave him the victory over Portugal in which they won the final 16-14 in the 5 th set.
With the passage of the parties, the national team gave him a chance in the team played Spain to the final against Greece lost 3-1.
Keep in mind that Chema is Cadet 2 nd year, while his companions are juveniles up to 2 nd year, but still, José María demonstrated its quality and its high profile in the world of volleyball.
Palencia is currently focused on the 14 best youth of Spain and the wait if he is called among the 12 players chosen to go to play the European Junior Championships ('93, '94), to be held in Sofia (Bulgaria) from 4 to January 10, 2011.
