The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca has organized a series of concerts by the Choir Arsis in Christmas programming.
The concerts are held in the parish church of Virgen de la Candelaria Barranda (December 26, 12.00), in the chapel of Santa Elena de Caravaca (December 26, 18.00), in the chapel of the Incarnation (28 December , 18.00) and in the parish church of Santa Barbara (December 28, 2030 hours).
For 10 years the collaboration between the choir Arsis and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz is consistent with the purpose of developing activities related to religious choral music.
In this sense, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Cruz Pérez, pointed out that the most prominent is the International Meeting of religious choral music, "which are preparing for next March, but we can not forget other activity that is repeated annually as is the Christmas concert. "The City Council has supported the continuous activity of a choir made up of people of Caravaca, which has reached a musical quality, standing up to the best amateur choirs in Spain and abroad" , stressed M ª Cruz Pérez.
The cultural offer is completed by the Christmas concert series to benefit Caritas.
The cycle by the musical group of Caravaca, and started last Saturday at the Social Hall of Barranda and continue on Jan. 2 at the Basilica de la Vera Cruz and on 8 January at the Social Hall of Archivel.
