The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has awarded grants to institutions and youth associations in the municipality.
In total, more than 12,000 euros divided among nine groups formed by young people living in both urban and in different districts of Caravaca.
The Department of Youth, as explained by its director, Antonia M ª Álvarez, wants economic aid to encourage young people to carry out initiatives of a cultural, social, educational and leisure activities according to their tastes and preferences.
Thus, "the City is working to encourage youth participation in various social fields and to increase the network of associations in the municipality."
In addition, the mayor of Youth has detailed this line of support is intended to support projects designed to promote activity in youth groups, thus fulfilling the obligation of government to promote free and effective participation of youth in development political, social and economic development.
Youth associations that have received the grant at a ceremony held at the Youth Center are: Magic Planeswalker, Lan Pary, El Salvador, "Get out" and incorporated in Pinilla, Navares, Los Prados, Singla, Barranda and Archivel.
