The Department of Women's Hall of Caravaca, through your local Employment and Equal Opportunities Agency, has initiated a series of training courses aimed at women's associations established in the municipality.
About 150 women attended during the month of October to activities and courses funded by the Ministry of Social Policy of the Autonomous Community.
Councillor Carmen Ruiz explained that the associations of the Almudema, Barranda, Singla and Caravaca receive training on issues related to social skills, healthy lifestyles, self-expression and communication.
"The women associated in the hamlet of La Alumdema have already participated in a workshop on speech and communication, which we try to encourage social participation and partnership", has detailed the mayor in charge of the area of Women, who also recalled that will begin a new cycle of computer courses for beginners and ordenografía, to be conducted in both urban and in rural districts in order to minimize the so-called "digital divide."
Those interested in receiving information about course offerings and workshops can go to the Local Employment Center for Women, located in Calle Poeta Ibáñez, from 8.00 to 15.00.
