The town of Caravaca de la Cruz will host on Wednesday 15 September, the celebration of the First Forum of initiatives and experiences in greenways.
This is a project carried out by the Tourist Consortium of the Northwest Greenway with Spanish Railway Foundation.
The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, who opened the ceremony with the mayor of the town, Domingo Aranda, stressed that the forum's goal is "to share experiences and knowledge to assist the transfer of best practices and foster collaboration between various greenways. "

Activities
The forum will take place over a day in the halls of the castle of Caravaca de la Cruz.
In the morning there will be three sessions of presentations and discussions.
The first will focus on institutional collaboration in the development of greenways.
In the second session will examine the management and maintenance, and the third, the promotion of tourism and job creation.
In the afternoon a small tour of the Northwest Greenway, which will include a visit to various facilities of interest.
