In the history of mankind, innumerable contributions with which science and technology have contributed to progress and social development.

In the last decade these advances have multiplied exponentially and this, according to the European Commission, is due mainly to "the greatest research initiative of the 21st century": technological convergence.

The synergies created between the so-called convergent technologies have increased significantly until the development of each one of them is unthinkable.

This fact has manifested itself producing a real revolution in the technological advances present in the daily life.

'Tecnorrevolución' is an interactive exhibition that aims to make known the converging technologies: nanotenology, biotechnology, information and communication technologies (ICTs), and cognitive sciences (NBIC).

Their interconnections are changing the world around us, provoking a real revolution in fields as diverse as construction, transport, agriculture, medicine, education or art.

Move a ball with the power of the mind, guess through a computer how a virus spreads and a pandemic occurs, see how a robot interacts with us and reacts to our movements.

These are just a few applications of the converging technologies that visitors to "Tecnorrevolución" can see, an exhibition organized by the "la Caixa" Obra Social in collaboration with the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz.
