The Caravaca People's Group emphasizes the work done at local and regional level to implement this cycle of dual vocational training with companies
The Minister of Education and Universities, María Isabel Sánchez-Mora, has presented the new Map of Vocational Training (FP), which contemplates the implementation of more than 50 cycles of this teaching in the next three years.
The Ministry of Education and Universities has designed the new strategy 2017/2020 in collaboration with local administrations, social and educational agents.
The objective is "to articulate a varied, balanced and adapted FP offer to the training needs of students and companies", explained Sánchez-Mora.
Thus, the Map proposes the implementation of 50 cycles of VET in public centers and, as a novelty, cycles of the hotel and tourism branch, physical-sport activities and other technological cycles.
Among them is the cycle of Secondary Degree of Technician in Footwear and Fashion Complements, in dual mode, with the collaboration of companies from the sectors involved, which will be taught at IES Ginés Pérez Chirinos de Caravaca.
From the Caravaca Popular Group, the work done during the last months at local and regional level, with coordination with the Footwear Association, is outstanding so that the Ministry of Education could implement this training cycle that responds to the existing demand, since the Sector of the footwear is one of the most competitive of the locality and the region and needs qualified personnel.
"Being a dual FP cycle, the involvement of companies will make it possible to increase the labor insertion of the students who attend it. We are convinced that this cycle, with the support of entrepreneurs, will mark a before and a Then in the footwear sector in our area, "said Councilor Sergio López.
