"I want to expressly acknowledge the work of all those who have been part of this device, which has faced the most important snowfall of the last 35 years, doing snow removal in approximately nine million square meters, Said José Moreno, who has referred to the Northwest Highway Conservation Center, Local Police, Civil Guard, Consortium for Fire Extinguishing and Rescue, Civil Protection and municipal maintenance services.

On the other hand, the mayor Pedro Antonio Muñoz has reviewed the technical and human resources that the municipality counted from Wednesday to Sunday, when five snowplows were operational (three from the General Direction of Roads, one from the Consortium Fire and Civil Protection), reinforced by two more machines during the day of last Thursday.

From the Northwest Highway Maintenance Center, a total of 100 tons of salt and 120,000 liters of brine were deposited in the various communication channels that run through the municipality.
