After the last appeared on the extension of the Open University of Caravaca de la Cruz the Municipal People want to point out that the information released by the PSOE are distorted news.
The amount owed caravaqueño City Hall when the PSOE came to rule was 35,000 euros and not 90,000 as secured.
Of the 90,000 euros spoken 65,000 are from the current year's budget, of which 51,000 are destined to service maintenance and the rest to deal with the debt gradually.
Since the agreement between the UNED Associated Center of Cartagena and the municipalities of the Northwest (Cehegín, Caravaca de la Cruz, Moratalla and Calasparra) was signed on maintenance of the extension, according to the agreement, the signatories made it effective municipalities ..
The City of Caravaca is the only one in the Northwest Region that has kept the center of the Open University in the hardest years of the crisis, making a great effort to offer this service to residents of the whole region and population of neighboring provinces.
Although payments have not been executed on a regular basis, sometimes stretching over time, we must recognize the effort and commitment that the extension of the UNED continue always open.
The installation of pumps of heat and cold to which refers the PSOE were placed after the motion submitted by the Municipal Group of Citizens on the Open University in plenary on 30 November 2015, the motion was approved unanimously by all political groups.
Currently the secretary of the center is off work and the headquarters of the UNED is closed except tutorial hours when the tutors themselves open the center.
Caravaca City Council could put another person to replace the secretary and to provide the best service to the students of the center, especially at exam time and close the opening of the registration period.
