The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, and the president of the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers, Alfonso Martinez, renewed the collaboration agreement between the two organizations, in the presence of Councilman Emergency Traffic and Safety, Pedro Antonio Muñoz .
This agreement includes health and safety coverage of events organized by the City Council or those events where local government works, whether cultural, sporting, tourist and festive type.
Volunteers thus reinforce the work performed by the Security Forces in public events in which concentrations of people are produced and preventive presence is required, as is the case of the upcoming festivities.
The Civil Protection Association Caravaca de la Cruz consists of 50 active volunteers, and has several material means as care ambulance and several support vehicles.
