The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, accompanied by the mayor of Tourism, Gloria Gómez, held a meeting with the director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, to discuss related issues cultural agenda is being planned to face the Jubilee Year 2017.

Another issue discussed at the meeting was the commitment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz to the scene Plan, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with local authorities, to support performing arts companies and musical groups of the Region and thus strengthen the sustainability of the sector.
This plan will expand the cultural program of the municipality and include performances in the next edition of Theatre Week.
