Representatives of five Polish tour operators staying this week at the Hospedería del Carmen de Caravaca de la Cruz, in a famtrip or familiarization trip sponsored by the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the City of Caravaca.
The mayor, José Moreno;
the older sister of the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez-Giron, and the mayor of Tourism, Gloria Gómez, has received this morning the Polish delegation, that in the coming days will also move to the towns of Calasparra, Totana, Lorca and Murcia and has reached the city of the Cross accompanied by a representative of the Spanish Tourist Office in Warsaw, OTS.
It is the first time that the region hosts a religious familiarization trip with tour operators from this country and operating in areas from Krakow, Wroclaw, Krosno and Warsaw.
This is the third 'famtrip' held late November, within the promotion action plan 'Caravaca 2017 Jubilee Year'.
The objectives are to promote the city to increase the flow of pilgrims and publicize the Way of the Cross of Caravaca de la Cruz in the main countries of religious tourism.
