The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offering a series of workshops and training courses, in the spring edition of the program of alternative entertainment 'Caravaca Young'.
"With the new programming we want to promote the activities of educational and cultural nature; create opportunities for healthy encounter and promote the inclusion and integration of children and young people", said the councilor responsible for the area, Esther Poveda.
The 'Caravaca Young' spring introduced as a new activity the 'Theatre Workshop', with which aim to create theater groups that have continuity in time and to develop performances in the town, encouraging thus leisure linked to culture .
In addition, due to demand, new editions are offered courses 'Climbing' 'Mini-chef', 'Photography' 'and `Percusión` Belly Dance'.
During the spring also held 'The toy library of the Youth Centre', which is open to the participation of children with and without disabilities.
'The experience of recent months has shown us a very suitable environment and enriching for children creates social learning, "he said the councilman of Youth and Education, who has reported for this activity will continue providing scholarships to City Hall 20 students, derived from Social Services, as it has done since the beginning of the school year.
Another activity is consolidated 'Fun on a Sunday', which consists in carrying out various activities and free games, from 17.30 to 20.30.
The 'Caravaca Young' also has a section devoted to training in non-formal education.
The next courses to be developed are: 'Sign Language' and 'youth mediators drug prevention'.
Some of the activities that are part of this program are free and others are offered at affordable prices, because they are subsidized by the city of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The workshops and courses are monthly, bimonthly or quarterly period, depending on the chosen theme.
In addition to scheduled activities, the Youth Center Caravaca is open during weekends leisure spaces, equipped with foosball, video consoles and pin-pong table, rehearsal rooms for bands and computer room.
